FIRST AID TREATMENT

If medical advice is needed, have CHIPFIX container label on hand. Immediately remove all contaminated clothing and footwear.

IF SWALLOWED

DO NOT induce vomiting. Take patient immediately to hospital.

EYE CONTACT

Immediately rinse eyes with water and continue for 15 – 20 minutes. Consult medical specialist immediately.

SKIN CONTACT

Immediately wash skin thoroughly with soap and water.

INHALING MISTS/VAPOURS

Immediately remove affected person from contaminated area to fresh air. Consult medical specialist if necessary

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Undiluted CHIPFIX is dangerous – it can cause severe skin burns and eye damage. Undiluted it is highly flammable and combustible. Do not swallow. Keep out of reach of children and animals. Collect all spillage.
  • Carefully read the instructions on the CHIPFIX container label before using.

  • Wear full body protective clothing at all times including safety boots, eye protection and plastic gauntlet gloves while handling CHIPFIX.

  • Rinse CHIPFIX containers then return them, empty, to Technix. Never use containers for water storage.

Diluted CHIPFIX, as specified in this brochure, is safe to handle and has low toxicity in waterways.
